Just a couple of quick things to run through. Firstly, yes, we will still be training tomorrow, despite the heat factor. Please make sure you all bring drink bottles as it is important to stay hydrated during the warmer training sessions.
Secondly. Every year we go away to the Sale knockout tournament. This is a weekend tournament with mens and womens divisions on Saturday and mixed divisions on Sunday. Everyone is welcome to participate. The comp this year will be held on the 28th and 29th of March and we will be heading up on the Friday afternoon/night and staying in accomodation quite close to the fields on both the Friday and Saturday nights.
If you are new to the club this is a terrific weekend to get to know other members and to get some experience against a reasonable standard of competition, combining the best of the social and competitive sides of the sport into one huge weekend. If you are interested in participating please let me know asap and we can start organising teams.
