Welcome 2010 Members!
2010 is set to be an exciting year for Touch UM with many fun sporting and social events being set up for the year. Below is some general information about different areas of the club:
Training:
Currently, training will be held on Thursday nights from 5pm-7pm on the Melbourne University Synthetic Hockey Pitch. Training will continue on Thursdays until the end of March then the dominant training night will become Tuesday's from 5pm - 7pm. Training starts TONIGHT so get on down and give it a shot.
Tournaments:
Touch UM has a few large tournaments throughout the year.
Sale Knockout: First up for the year is the Victorian State Champs held in Sale for the weekend of 28/29 March. This is a great tournament not only for our more experienced players but also for our beginners to have a go in the social comp and get some experience playing some games. It is a fantastic weekend away and we need to start getting interest immediately so if you would like to come along and play, please reply to this email and let us know. There will be another email with more information coming out shortly.
Australian Uni Games: Unigames will be held in Perth this year during the second semester break. Trials and training will start in early May so have a think about if you want to be involved. More on that to come later.
Merchandise:
Touch UM also has a range of merchandise. We have trainings singlets, playing shorts, hoodies (the ones with the wings on the back) and playing tops all on offer.
There is an order coming in soon for those of you who missed out on shorts and singlets during sign up but we sell merchandise all year round.

Social Events:
Touch UM prides itself of its social atmosphere and as such has a few social events planned for the near future.
